Spring Ideas for ME and My Business--AN ACTIVERAIN CHALLENGE

Currently, I am more in education side of the business than the marketing side. I broke down the activities and show the percentage of each activity for present (currently in place) and for the future (planning).

My spring ideas for this year would be:

 

1.        Education    Currently (20%), Planned (15%)
Taking real estate courses, attend TAR and NAR seminars and conferences and serving as a TAR, NAR committees and monitor in the classes offered by our board.

Also, recently I joined a Toastmaster club in our area and my goal is to finish the 10 required presentations to be completed by the end of this year, which gives me the Competent Communicator (CC) designation too.
 

2.        Blogging, Social Media: Currently (15%), Planned (10%)
Blogging and publishing them in blogging platform such as Activerain and other social medias such as facebook business page, facebook groups, LinkedIn, Google, etc.
 

3.        Teaching: Currently (0%), Planned (10%)
I am certified instructor from TREC to teach real estate core as well as elective courses. I have a plan to teach some of these courses in next couple of months.
 

4.         Tool Development: Currently (15%), Planned (5%)
I am in nature engineer and programmer and still designing and developing websites, programming and create apps for my tool. I will this as a continuous basis.
 

5.        Marketing: Currently (0%), Planned (1%)
I don’t advertise, send postcard nor market myself. I rely on reputation and articles I write on the web and word of mouth from my SOI (sphere Of Influence).
 

6.        Work: Currently (11%), Planned (15%)
This refers to actual time spent on my real estate clients. It covers searching properties for clients, writing contracts and negotiation, helping clients all the way to closing and after.
 

7.        Travel: Currently (11%), Planned (11%)
I have plan to travel to Europe for visiting friends and family (pleasure) about 1 month, travel to out-of-town and out-of-state for TAR and NAR seminars and conferences (business) with a total of 3 weeks. (11%)
 

8.        Me Time: Currently (13.0%), Planned (18%)
This includes the time to visit friends and family and spent times with them. Next month, a family of 4 is coming from Canada to visit us and probably I spent about 2 weeks (14 days) with them and entertaining them. 1 week per year(7 days) my vacation. Additionally, time by time I meet with other friends and family members, estimated total 1 day in two weeks (26 days per year). Total 47 days/365 day= 13%

 

9.        Sleep: Currently (15%), Planned (15%)
I know some of you might think this is a typo, but is not. I usually sleep about 3-4 hours a day, that ratio becomes 4hours/24hours=16%
